College Baseball Player Calls Mo’Ne Davis A Slut

Joey CasselberryLook, no matter how you feel about Mo’Ne Davis’ rise to fame–whether you think it’s just or if she’s vastly overexposed, the main thing to keep in mind is she’s just a teenager, so it would be best not to throw around the word ‘slut’ at her.

One salty college baseball player, Joey Casselberry, is sick of Mo’Ne getting attention and put out this extremely bitter tweet

twitter joey

Joey of course apologized, but when you call kids ‘sluts’ just because they’re achieving fame for seemingly mundane reasons (in this case, her being the only girl in a male sport), you look not only jealous but evil. Again, he’s entitled not to like Mo’Ne but his choice of words is why he deserves to take every bit of backlash coming. He’s since deleted his twitter…

An example that one stupid tweet can ruin someone’s life and I couldn’t be more sorry about my actions last night. I please ask you to

Forgive me and truly understand that I am in no way shape or form a sexist and I am a huge fan of Mo’ne. She was quite an inspiration

  1. F@@K him!! He meant what he said.. No need to apologize now!! you just screwed your career(that’s if you really had one!!) lol.

  2. Whether she was teen or not, calling anyone woman a ‘slut’ for simply playing a male dominant sport and being good at it, is disgusting and sexist.

  3. Oh my God…shut the fuck up. He said something stupid…simple as that. He thought it was funny, and it wasn’t. That’s ALL. The rest of you PC, whiny ass fucks can SHUT THE FUCK UP and get over yourselves.

@JohnSmith The part where he says, in all caps, WHAT A JOKE, is not a disclaimer that something funny is about to happen.
